Teams travelling to Alexandra for this Sunday's Thunder Downunder at Alex are reminded that racing is due to commence at 5pm.

The gate to the pit enclosure will close at 3pm. Given that it is a two day event, teams will be able to arrive throughout the day. Remembering that it is the Standard Saloon State Title with in excess of 50 cars, early arrival is advised.

When driving to Alex through the areas affected by bush fires in 2009, teams may wish to stop off at local towns and markets to support the local communities. Remember that monies spent in one local business is usually spent with other local businesses thereby multiplying the financial benefit in the community.

Lastly teams are reminded to be sure to offer Cheryl a drink as you enter the speedway complex.
