The SDAV Hot Rods are in action this Saturday night at Hamilton Speedway.

Gates will open at 3.pm with the pre race drivers briefing occurring at 5 p.m. followed by racing from 6 p.m.

Teams are reminded to allow for sufficient time to make the 294.4k trip. Disagreement exists as to the fastest route to Hamilton, with teams travelling via Geelong or Ballarat.

Teams are also advised to keep a look out for the Team Meakin Bus as it is said that the external facing shower at the rear of the bus has been used by certain team members whilst en route.

For those unfamiliar with the bus, it is large, mostly blue, usually in the right lane and jam packed with laughter. A great addition to the SDAV ranks.
